 Treat your taste buds to this 2.5-hour gourmet tasting adventure in the heart of Philadelphia! Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will introduce you to a heavenly trio of decadent treats at three of Philly’s best hidden gems.
Your tour begins at the city’s best gourmet market with a cheese tasting. We’ll share the inside scoop on how cheese is made, introduce you to 4 fantastic farmstead and imported cheeses, and answer all of your questions about selecting and serving cheeses!
Your guide will then escort you to enjoy a chocolate tasting at a very popular European-inspired chocolate café. We will explore how chocolate is made as we taste a wide variety of chocolate pieces that includes white, milk, dark, varietal chocolate, as well as a decadent chocolate truffle. You’ll leave with a goody bag of the chocolate you didn’t finish during the tasting.
The grand finale to your adventure is a visit to the city’s most popular gelato shop for a chance to test your taste buds during a blind tasting of 6 amazing examples of luscious gelato and sorbetto. As you indulge, we’ll dispel some common myths about gelato and some fun facts about how it’s different than ice cream.
